In fairness , I almost always take a cab on its hardtop counterpart , and in the history of cars there is one vehicle for which I found better than the convertible hardtop : the Nissan Murano. But let me assure you, 2014 Corvette Convertible is not Murano. This is a completely incredible machine
. Surefooted , efficient and just looking cool , the topless Corvette provides everything a person sports car could want or need. In a recent test in Palm Springs , good Corvette Convertible with much more expensive convertibles cruising along Palm Canyon Drive. While the Corvette Stingray looks great with its cloth top up - and remains remarkably quiet in part because of the rear window and fabric thick glass - the magic only needed 21 seconds to start. That's how long it takes the top down and speeds up to 30 mph . This allows you to put the hood you navigate to the valet or open as you leave the house. Which has an extra 20 seconds to sit and just open up? In the Stingray , you gotta move . The top can be lowered electronically via the key fob , so you 're walking to the car in the parking lot , up can be down .

Changing settings Eco Sport and Track was quite remarkable , even if I never left the Eco setting for very long. GM paid for gas. And for me, never really need convertible blistering track - though it will certainly particular Corvette, no matter the configuration. Are convertible to enjoy the outdoor road .
